Empowering Youth in a Safe Haven

More Than a Program—A Place to Belong

Prairie St Youth Club was established on June 21, 2024, with a clear purpose: to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for youth ages 6–21. Founded by Brandie Jones, who brings over 22 years of hands-on experience caring for children through her daycare, the organization is rooted in compassion, structure, and a deep commitment to the community.
We understand that every young person needs more than just supervision—they need guidance, opportunity, and a place where they truly feel at home. That’s why Prairie St Youth Club was built to be a home away from home: a space where youth are encouraged, protected, and empowered to grow into their best selves.

Who We Are

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting youth through mentorship, athletics, education, and life skills development. Our programs are designed to build confidence, discipline, and purpose in every young person we serve.
Through strong relationships and consistent support, we help youth overcome challenges, discover their potential, and prepare for a successful future.

Our Mission

To provide a safe, structured, and positive environment where youth can grow academically, socially, and physically while developing the skills needed for lifelong success.

Our Promise

At Prairie St Youth Club, every child who walks through our doors will be met with encouragement, structure, and care. We are committed to creating a space where youth feel safe, valued, and inspired to succeed.
This is more than a youth club—this is a foundation for the future.

Community Development Initiative

Prairie St Youth Club is currently collaborating with community mentor Taya Davis on a major development project focused on building a community-based basketball gym.
Taya Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Sports Management and is actively seeking grant funding to bring this vision to life.
This facility will serve as more than just a gym—it will be a safe, structured community hub where youth and families can access:
  • Athletic training and development
  • Academic support
  • Life skills mentorship
  • Community programs and outreach
Together, this initiative is designed to create access, opportunity, and long-term impact for underserved youth and families in our community.
